Your Planning Schedule 🫡

Starting a wakepark project is exciting, but can feel overwhelming at first.

Whether you already have a location or just an idea, this short guide helps you understand what to consider in the planning process.

1-2 YEARS IN ADVANCE

Clarify your vision

Define your target group and rough business idea. A clear vision makes every following step easier.

Find a Location

Evaluate water depth size, access, power supply, and infrastructure. The location ultimately defines what’s possible. Learn more in site requirements - here

Build your network early

Talk to experienced operators, suppliers, and industry experts. Their insights help you avoid mistakes and sharpen your concept from the start.

12-6 Months IN ADVANCE

Feasibility & market check

Is the project realistic at this site? Consider regional demand, competition, weather, and seasonality to see if the idea can hold up in practice.

funding strategy

Prepare your story for investors, banks, and partners. Position your project with a strong brand and benefits for tourism, community, and economy.

Permits & Permissions

Engage with local officials early, pitch the benefits of your project, and clarify regulations and permits. If the authorities aren’t on board, the project won’t move forward.

Contact System 2.0

Of course, you can contact us at any time and earlier in this timeline. But the more precisely you’ve worked through the previous points, the more accurately we can prepare an offer for you.

6-4 Months IN ADVANCE

Plan financials

Calculate investment, ROI, and running costs. Include equipment, construction, staffing, operation, and maintenance – be realistic, not optimistic.

Develop a detailed concept

Design the cable setup, tower layout, supporting facilities, and possible add-ons. Create a concept that works for both visitors and operations.

Operations planning

Think ahead about staffing, safety, seasonal planning, and long-term maintenance. A sustainable operation is as important as a successful start.

4-1 Months IN ADVANCE

Blueprint & go-ahead

When all pieces fall into place – vision, permits, concept, financials, and operations – it’s time to finalize the blueprint and turn your project into reality.

Your System 2.0 will be shipped

Depending on your location, we ship either by truck or in a container via sea freight. For sea freight, sufficient time must be planned for transport and customs clearance.

Prepare anchors and electricity

You will receive precise drawings for your anchors after placing the order. If desired, the anchors can also be produced on-site by our team.

3-1 Weeks IN ADVANCE

Finally. installation of your System 2.0

A team member will come and install your System 2.0 together with 2–3 people from your team. We need about 2 days for this. Please provide a telescopic forklift.

Soft Opening

Conduct a soft opening to train your staff on operational procedures. This will give you a good indication of where there are still issues or inconsistencies in the workflow.

Opening Day! 🎉

Promote your opening day in your local media. Invite wakeboard pros and host a wakeboard show. This gives the media and customers on site a great glimpse into the amazing world of wakeboarding. Congratulations on your wakepark!
